Sustainability Pledge aka "Why does it take so long to ship?!"

We are committed to reducing the amount of clothing that ends up in our landfills. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, about 80 pounds of clothing per person is thrown away every year in the United States. One way we are doing our part is by changing the way we buy merchandise and manage our inventory. In the past, we thought it was a "flex" to have tons of inventory; however, we've grown up as a business. We realized it's better to focus on the buying habits of our customers.

We have adopted this new approach in an effort to make more informed buying decisions which means less waste on our part. This new approach also means it may take a little longer for you to get your order. We understand that this doesn't work for every customer-and that's okay. We've added a new price match policy in an effort to remain flexible with our customers. We will continue to listen to our customers as we grow and make any necessary changes as they arise. In the meantime, we will continue to curate collections of must-have pieces that are worth the wait~ Happy Shopping!

Return Policy

All regular priced new items (except for swimwear, accessories, shoes, & wellness products) can be returned for a full refund, less a 10% restocking fee and shipping costs, within 14 days of the delivery confirmation date indicated on the USPS tracking link.

Items must be unworn (no deodorant stains, perfume odors, body oil stains, etc) show no signs of damage, contain original retail tags, and must be in the original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if your item does not pass an inspection. 

To begin a refund simply email us at with "Return My Order" in the subject line. Please be sure to include your order number in the email. You will receive a reply email within 24 hours containing instructions to return your item. 

Customers also have the option to receive store credit. 

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear in our store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. We will not provide a return for this reason.

Swimwear, Accessories, Shoes, & Wellness products- All of the aforementioned are Final Sale.

Thrifted, Sale, & Clearance Items: All sales are final.

Shipping Policy- Although we previously had a physical storefront, we are currently an exclusive online boutique. We have streamlined our expenses and we are able to pass along some of the cost savings to you - our customer.

Now we are able to offer lower price points on our boutique items, returns/refunds, and reduced shipping costs at checkout. As a result, we have a longer lead time to fulfill your items once an order is placed on our website. Please allow up to 14 business days to process your order. This lead time does not include the estimated time to ship and deliver your item nor does it include holidays.

Once your item is ready to ship, we will ship it to you via USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class Mail which takes 2-3 days (This excludes any product that is marked as a "Pre-order" item with an expected ship time disclosed on the product page). All shipments will include a USPS tracking number.

If you place a large order with Rag & Muffin we may fulfill your order with several partial shipments at no additional cost to you. Please note, it can take additional time to receive the final  shipment in your order. Your items will ship via USPS First Class and or USPS Priority Mail and tracking will always be provided. International Shipping

Rag & Muffin will do it's best to provide low cost international shipping rates. If in the event there is a shipping overage you will receive a refund for the difference as a fee reversal. This will be processed within 24 hours once your package has shipped. If in the event we did not calculate your shipping charges correctly, you will receive an invoice via email for the remaining balance. You will have one business day to remit the remaining balance. Your package will not be fulfilled until the remaining balance has been paid.

Your order may be subject to import tax, duties or customs which may be levied once your shipment reaches your country. Rag & Muffin is not responsible for charges imposed by your country. You will be responsible for paying any charges for customs clearance. Please contact your local customs office for information on these charges as we cannot predict what they may be. We are required by law to disclose the full amount of the package.

If you refuse or return a package due to failure to pay the customs charge and request a refund, you will be charged a restocking fee. The restocking fee will range between 25%-45%. Please note the item must be returned in its original condition and all shipping fees are non-refundable.

All prices are listed in US dollars. The rate of exchange you pay is determined by the bank which issues your credit card, but it will coincide with the current rate of exchange. Please refer to this link for today's rate of exchange

Free shipping promotions or free shipping coupons do not apply to international orders unless otherwise noted. We will ship your package via USPS Priority International or UPS Standard Mail.
